Hi, I'm Maya

A seeker of Truth

An artist of Intuitive Living

I serve as a guide for those ready to step into their highest human potential through unlocking and embracing their sacred intuitive gifts.

Roots

I was born and raised in Morocco, to parents who belonged to that first generation which made the leap from tradition to modernity.

Their childhoods were lived within the walls of an ancient gated city, with its ancestral traditions and rhythms. Their adolescence was shaped by French colonial schooling that ushered in a new modern era. Their early adulthood was spent in 1960s and ’70s America, immersed in academia and cultural revolution.

It was within this richly layered cultural inheritance that my lifelong devotion was born. A devotion to understanding:

- the beauty and complexity of the human experience and what it truly means to be fully, vibrantly human.

- how to thrive, not just survive, in this sacred unfolding of life. â€‹

The Journey

I left Morocco at 18 to attend college in the USA, which turned into a decade long journey. Then I moved to Australia to pursue a PhD in Cultural Studies. Over time, the academic world lost its appeal. What once felt like a noble and worthwhile pursuit began to feel void of meaning. What difference did all this theory make in the world? My disillusionment prompted me to turn inward in my search for deeper truth: the true meaning of life and our place in the universe.

Yet, with time, I came to appreciate the hidden gifts of my academic path. Cultural Studies, in its essence, is an invitation to dwell in the intersections. Cultural Studies put me on a path to explore life's big questions at the meeting point of culture, history, science, philosophy and spirituality - all through a lens that honoured nuance, multiplicity, and depth. And in many ways, it mirrored my own journey - unfolding at the crossroad of cultures, scholarship and lived experience.

Each one of the countries where I lived has left a deep imprint on me. It is in Morocco that I first became intrigued by the power of intention, energy healing and the sacredness of the parent-child relationship. In America, I took a deep dive into the study of martial arts and the intentional growth of Chi - life force. And it is in Australia where I reconnected with the earth, allowing it to become my biggest teacher, where I learned the art of inter-being with the world around me, where I have made my home for the last 23 years, living with my family a natural, organic lifestyle that includes homeschooling my children.

In my devotional quest to understanding the human experience and how we can live our best lives in this present embodiment, I’ve explored the healing arts and the languages of the body, I trained in Eastern disciplines like Shaolin Kung Fu, Tai Chi and I Ching Ching. I learned about nutrition, ancient wisdom traditions and the common threads linking them, And I've meditated deeply on the sacredness of human relationships, including our relationship to divine source, to one another, to ourselves, to our ancestors, to the earth, and to the cosmos.

The Work

My teachings today are the culmination of a lifelong quest — not just to understand, but to embody what I’ve come to know as TRUTH:

  • That we are each here for a purpose.

  • That intuition is a light we can trust.

  • And that, in today’s world, clearing the noise and reconnecting with our intuition is the most radical act of freedom; one that is sacred and empowering. Learning to live by the light of intuition is to claim sovereignty in every area of your life.

My work — whether through one-on-one mentorship, soulful immersions or online courses — is rooted in remembrance: of natural rhythms, of who we are, of divine Source. It is an invitation to return home to the quiet truth within, and to live within that state of being with strength, clarity, and grace.

May this space guide you home to yourself.
